Dear Parents/Carers,
The school has a cycle of reviewing and improving its policies and procedures, to support the learning and wellbeing for all our students. At this point in time, we are reflecting on the current Attendance/Participation and Engagement procedures, across the many categories and context for learning in our school.
We are reviewing this through a process which involves:
Discover – What we already know; what we think we know; what we might not understand; what we don’t know or could know.
Define – Look at what we have discovered and decide if we need to address any of these findings.
Decide - On an actual Goal for improvement, if we have determined/ decided we need to adjust or change an area in our practices.
Develop – The plan for how we will achieve our goal.
Deliver – These actions in our plan and then monitor and evaluate for success.
Our teachers have recently contributed to the “Think Tank” in the Discover phase of our review process. We would like to provide the opportunity for Parents and Carers to also be a part of this Discover phase. As you supervise student learning, which involves supporting the students to participate in, engage with and hence attend lessons; we are inviting you to participate in a Discover survey for Parents/Carers/Supervisors.
