Information for Parents and carers
The role played by the supervisor as part of a distance education (DE) enrolment is a vital one. The DE teacher works in partnership with the supervisor to design, deliver and support an effective educational program for the student/s.
The teacher/s work in partnership with the supervisor and use a blend of technolgies and resources as appropriate. The DE supervisor is there to support the student's access to the educational opportunites provided. They provide regular comunication with the DE teacher to create 'the link' between the school and the student's learning context.
Communications
Our school now utilises the NSW Education Parent iPhone and Android app available for free download.
Parents and carers can install our Parent App by searching for NSW Education Parent App in either The Apple Store or Google Play Store. This is a free download and is one way we try to maintain communications with our diverse school community.

Counselling for families
The school counsellor can assist when families undergo a trauma or big change. Contact us to make an appointment. For information in community languages, see school counselling service.
Outside of the education system, free telephone counselling services are available to support families who may be going through a difficult time.

Interpreting and translations
We will help you communicate with our school. If you’d like an interpreter for a school meeting, let us know and we will arrange one, if available.
If you don’t speak or understand English well and want to contact us, call TIS National on 131 450 and ask for an interpreter in your language. The operator will call the school and get an interpreter to help. This service is free.
